    Position Summary
    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel fabrication and a proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure project milestones are met.
    • Prepare and manage project budgets. Identify and address potential budget overruns and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Prepare and negotiate change order requests beyond original scope.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and managing internal resource allocation (procurement, detailing, engineering, production, shipping).
    • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, submittals, contract documents, change orders, progress reports, and final project deliverables.

    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 1 year of structural steel construction related project management involvement with a sound understanding of the structural design process, detailing, specification compliance, scheduling, change management, billings and reporting.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management and/or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus but not absolutely necessary.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other project management software tools. Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to anticipate challenges and develop effective solutions.
    • Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
    • Ability to travel and navigate construction sites as needed. Likely 2-3 times annually.
