Welded Connection

CoreBrace’s revolutionary seismic brace with welded connection provides a very efficient solution for projects with relatively low capacity BRBs. Our welded braces arrive at the job site completely fabricated and ready for installation with integral erection bolt holes.  There are no loose ends to worry about.

Pinned Connection

The CoreBrace Pinned Connections are great when connections are exposed to view. Although this connection has tighter erection tolerances than other connection types, it can make a great aesthetic addition to any project. Browse our projects page to see some exposed braces with high quality finishes.

We are excited to introduce our newest development: the CoreBrace reCOREder is the next step in achieving smart, resilient structures with Buckling Restrained Braces (BRBs). The data stored in the device, along with the results from our BRB Fatigue testing program, provides a reliable means to determine the remaining capacity of BRBs after an earthquake or other significant event. A customizable, affordable technology that is available for new construction, and a simple upgrade to existing BRBs, increases the post event evaluations and understanding of the life cycle of a structure.
