Seismic bracing retrofit of a 16-story building using 169 BRBs currently housing the Dolby Corporation. The retrofit scheme incorporated an intuitive approach to limiting the column demands by staggering the frame locations in plan up the height of the building and therefor sharing the force over a greater number of columns.
