Officially named “Amohia Ake” meaning “the wellbeing of the people is paramount”, the new home for the ACC consolidates their three existing Waikato premises into one location in Hamilton’s CBD. The 4-story structure is 10,000m² (107,600 ft²) and was constructed to New Zealand’s current sustainability, seismic, and environmental standards with a 4-star green rating. The project includes architecturally exposed BRBs with a hybrid bolt-pin connection.
