U of U Rice-Eccles Stadium

Built in 1927 the Rice-Eccles Stadium is home to the University of Utah football team. The stadium also hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Olympics along with many other events and concerts. The most previous renovation in 2021 was an expansion to the south end of the stadium which added box suites, club seating, upgraded locker rooms, and added 5,637 seats, increasing the stadium’s capacity to 51,444, making it one of the largest outdoor stadiums in Utah. The expansion included a total of 65 BRBs.
