Seismic bracing was engineered for this nine-story precast/CIP concrete carpark with over 1,000 parking stalls servicing the Wellington International Airport. This structure utilizes hybrid-type BRBs with pinned connection on one end and a welded on the other allowing for erection efficiencies while addressing the tolerances common in concrete construction. BRBs are completely galvanized for corrosion protection in coastal environment of Wellington NZ.
